This post is probably out of sequence due to the activity level of the past few days. That and not much happening on Saturday caused me to just miss posting anything.
Everybody slept in on Saturday since the only items on our agendas were to get our stuff organized, repacked and to prepare for our upcoming travel. KC started things out with a nice breakfast of biscuits, sausage and eggs. Following this we watched College Game Day, then a couple of games and around 2:30 we drove to Whitefish for some shopping and eventually an early dinner at a great Italian restaurant called Abruzzo's Italian Kitchen.
We enjoyed Fried Calamari and an order of "scratch" spaghetti and meatballs as appetizers. Dinner was more made-from-scratch pasta dishes and a dynamite wood fired oven pizza made from Caputa 00 flour and San Marzano tomatoes. I had a nice chat with the pizza chefs about their oven and some of their dough making techniques.
I am such a pizza queer.
And really, dear readers, that's about it. Oh I could wax on about our packing techniques and the the raging debate among travelers about "rolling vs folding" our clothes, but I'm too tired to do this. Maybe on a really slow day. Or maybe not.
By-eee.
Welcome! Follow KC, Karen, Sherry and me as we tour Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon in September 2018.
